SCREW IT.
I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO TRY.
A WORTHWHILE NETWORK POST WOULD BE WASTED ON THIS GAGGLE OF NEWCOMERS.
ALL OF YOU WANDERING AROUND IN HOPELESS DESTITUTION LIKE A WRIGGLER WHOSE CLOVEN-HOOFED LUSUS HAS BEEN SHOT BY A MORE WORTHY MEMBER OF THE SPECIES.
EXCEPT NONE OF YOU ARE KING OF THE FOREST.
YOU ARE MERELY ORPHANS OF YOUR UNIVERSE DOOMED TO STARVED TO DEATH.

He knows.
A strange sense of fulfillment creeps upon him at this realization. The dark cavern of his heart is suddenly occupied by something other than rage and fuckwords. It's akin to the feeling one gets when their goals in life have been accomplished.

You're right.
Ben from Lost's stare has penetrated deep into Karkat's soul. His gaze is like a glorious comet streaming across the galaxy, ultimately coming in contact with a planet with atmospheric conditions, and after a fiery descent that exceeds God's rain of fire and brimstone, it crashes into the most tender part of the troll's heart.
This phenomenon is the soul-shattering equivalent to the mass extinction of the dinosaurs; the gaze's crash landing has erupted all sorts of emotional debris, which then fly about Karkat's soul and ultimately killing 90% of life.
On a physical level, Karkat explodes in a bloody haze. Red gore is everywhere. The age of the great lizards has ended.
But oh, what's this?
A small wriggler emerges from the husk.
The age of
mammalslow bloods has begun. ]1/2
